Widgets
What is a Widget? Wikipedia has a number of different definitions for them, but the one that is most appropriate for us here at Kiwee is this one:
The web widget is a portable chunk of code that can be installed and executed within any separate HTML-based web page by an end user without requiring additional compilation. They are derived from the idea of reusable code that has existed for years. Other terms used to describe web widgets including: gadget, badge, module, capsule, snippet, mini and flake. Web widgets often but not always use DHTML, JavaScript, or Adobe Flash.
Or simply put, a Kiwee Widget is something you can put on your page that has a function. You take to code and put a Kiwee Widget on your MySpace page, your personal website or your blog. We launched our first widgets in December and they are called Countdown Clocks. They can count down to any date or time that you choose. We've got Invite countdown clocks for your next party or big event and we've also got generic countdown clocks for all your needs. Here's how they look:

nice little post. You should consider making your widgets on the Clearspring http://www.clearspring.com/ widget platform. Really helped me with making my widgets viral, as well as tracking them across the internet.
