AGI Applications & NPD Team Blog
The blog is the place where the AGI Applications & NPD Team lives. Here, you can see what’s new with the team, engage in discussion with our people and other technology aficionados, and suggest things you’d like to see AG Interactive get into.
Our first project was the Kiwee Beta postCard Maker... but we have evolved since then to support various innovations (including websites, social network apps, mobile apps, desktop software) for AG Interactive.
Send your Kiwee stuff using email
We've been quiet for the past couple of months, but that doesn't mean we haven't been
working. In fact, just in time for the holiday season, we launched the ability to send postCards, Graphics and Widgets via email. We realize that not everyone has a MySpace or Facebook page, and that some people still appreciate good old-fashioned
ecards. Now you can send stuff to mom
and dad! (YES!!!)
If you've used our
Kiwee editing tools before, you probably noticed that we changed a couple of things when we added email functionality to the site. The first thing you'd notice is that we added a bunch of big buttons instead of a drop down. Hopefully this will make it easier to find the place you want to send your custom greeting. So now it looks like this:

Just pick one of the social networks like MySpace or Piczo and the code will appear in the box. If you want to use email, just click the mail icon and fill out all the standard info. (You can email your greeting to all 10 of your friends).
You don't have to register or login to use any of our stuff and as always, it's all FREE.
BTW, sorry but we had to remove Friendster because they don't allow you to post Flash on your site anymore. :-(
Widgets
What is a Widget? Wikipedia has a number of different
definitions for them, but the one that is most appropriate for us here at Kiwee is
this one:
The web widget is a portable chunk of code that can be installed and executed within any separate HTML-based web page by an end user without requiring additional compilation. They are derived from the idea of reusable code that has existed for years. Other terms used to describe web widgets including: gadget, badge, module, capsule, snippet, mini and flake. Web widgets often but not always use DHTML, JavaScript, or Adobe Flash.Or simply put, a
Kiwee Widget is something you can put on your page that has a function. You take to code and put a
Kiwee Widget on your MySpace page, your personal website or your blog. We launched our first widgets in December and they are called
Countdown Clocks. They can count down to any date or time that you choose. We've got
Invite countdown clocks for your next party or big event and we've also got
generic countdown clocks for all your needs. Here's how they look:
